Organic, Australian Blue Boiling Peas: did we hear someone say Pea n Ham Soup??
Bluish green dried field peas, cleaned and colour sorted. The traditional pea of choice when making mushy with fish and chips. Sometimes mint is added. Works brilliantly in pea and ham soup too...
These peas are dried and should be soaked in clean water for about 4 hours in the fridge. Add 2 tea spoons of bi-cab soda and 1 tea spoon salt for each kilo of peas.
Rinse well prior to use. Cook for about 60 minutes.
